The problem this solves

Most environments carry a handful of high-impact, low-effort issues: a firewall rule left open, backups that have not been tested, idle resources still billing, devices on old firmware. This package finds and fixes a defined number of them, quickly, at a price that does not need a procurement process.

Who it is for

  • Small and mid-size businesses that have never had an independent infrastructure check
  • Owners who suspect they are overpaying for cloud resources
  • IT generalists who want a second pair of eyes before a bigger project
  • Teams that want a low-risk first engagement before committing to a larger one

Not the right fit if

  • You need a full security audit or penetration test
  • You need a multi-week migration or redesign

What is included — scope of work

Health review

A structured review of one cloud account or subscription and one primary network site against a standard checklist.

Identification of publicly exposed services, open management ports and overly broad firewall rules.

Backup sanity check

Verification that backups exist, are recent and can be restored for one test system.

Cost quick wins

Identification of idle, oversized or orphaned resources.

Patch status

Firmware and patch level review for core network devices.

Remediation

Up to five agreed fixes applied during the engagement, with your approval for each change.

Deliverables

  • Health review checklist with findings
  • Prioritised findings list (fix now / plan / accept)
  • Up to five remediations applied and documented
  • Cost quick-win summary
  • 30-minute findings walkthrough

How it works

  1. Access

Read-only access and a short kickoff call.
  2. Review

Checklist review of cloud account and primary site.
  3. Fix

Up to five approved remediations applied.
  4. Report

    Findings report and walkthrough.

What $497 covers

One cloud account or subscription, one primary network site, a checklist review and up to five approved remediations, typically completed within two weeks of access. Larger estates, additional fixes or anything requiring new hardware are quoted separately. You are never charged for work you did not approve.

Frequently asked questions

Is $497 really the full price?

Yes, for the defined scope above. If we find issues that need more work, we list them in the report with an estimate and you decide.

Is this a security audit?

No. It is a practical health review with fixes. It does not replace a formal audit or penetration test.

What access do you need?

Read-only access for the review, then scoped write access for the specific fixes you approve.

Do you have reviews from previous customers?

Gridwise is a newly launched practice and does not publish reviews or testimonials. The fixed scope and approval-per-change model is designed to keep the risk on our side.

What happens next?

Many findings point to ongoing operations needs, which Managed Cloud & Network Operations covers, but there is no obligation.

What we need from you

  • An executive sponsor and a named technical lead
  • Read-only access to cloud accounts, billing exports and identity configuration
  • An application and infrastructure inventory, even if partial
  • Known compliance, data-residency or contractual requirements
  • Agreed change windows for any work that touches production

How Gridwise works

Written scope before work starts. Every engagement begins with a written scope, deliverables list and fixed price or monthly fee. Nothing is billed outside that scope without your written approval.

Vendor-neutral advice. Gridwise does not take commissions from hardware, carrier, cloud or software vendors, so recommendations follow your requirements rather than a sales target.

You own the outputs. Designs, configurations, documentation and code produced for you are yours to keep and use with any provider.

Honest about where we are. Gridwise Technology is a newly launched practice. We do not publish testimonials, client logos or case studies, and we will not invent them. What we offer instead is a clear process, written acceptance criteria and documented results for your own environment.

What happens after you apply

Your application goes straight to the Gridwise team, not to a sales queue. Within one business day we reply by email with either a short list of clarifying questions or a proposal for a scoping conversation. If the engagement looks like a fit, we send a written scope that lists the work, the deliverables, the timeline, the fixed price or monthly fee, and the assumptions it depends on. Nothing starts and nothing is billed until you have reviewed and approved that document. If we are not the right partner for what you need, we will say so plainly and, where we can, point you toward a better option.
