Networking
Switching, routing and SD-WAN designed, deployed and tuned for multi-site organizations that want predictable performance between offices, data centres and cloud.
The problem this solves
Networking projects stall when hardware is chosen before requirements. We start with how your sites, users and applications actually move traffic, then design the switching, routing and WAN overlay to match, with failover that is tested rather than assumed.
We also look at the operational side. A network that only one person understands is a risk even when it works. Every configuration we build follows a written standard, every site uses the same naming and addressing conventions, and the design document explains why each decision was made, so a new engineer or a managed provider can pick it up without reverse-engineering it. That consistency is what keeps the network supportable as you add sites.
Who it is for
- Organizations with two or more sites connected by aging MPLS or ad-hoc VPNs
- Teams replacing end-of-life switches and routers
- IT leads planning an SD-WAN migration and wanting an independent design
- Businesses whose routing has grown organically and is no longer documented
Not the right fit if
- You only need a single-site Wi-Fi refresh
- You want a managed service with no project work (see Data Network Services)
What is included — scope of work

What affects the price
The $11,500 fee covers design and deployment engineering for up to three sites using your chosen platform. Hardware, SD-WAN licences and carrier circuits are purchased by you. Additional sites are quoted per site before work starts. See all Network & Infrastructure Services.
Frequently asked questions
Do you sell the SD-WAN product?
No. We design and deploy around the platform you choose and can provide a vendor-neutral comparison if you have not chosen yet.
Will we need new circuits?
Sometimes. If a site needs a second path for real redundancy we will say so in the design and you decide.
How is this different from High-Speed Networks?
High-Speed Networks focuses on a single site or campus core. Networking focuses on switching, routing and the WAN between multiple sites.
Do you publish client results?
Gridwise is a newly launched practice and does not publish testimonials or case studies. Acceptance criteria, including failover tests, are agreed in writing up front.
Can you manage it afterwards?
Yes, through Data Network Services, as a separate monthly engagement.

What we need from you
- A named technical contact with authority to approve changes
- Current network diagrams, device inventory or whatever documentation exists, however incomplete
- Read-only access to network devices and monitoring tools during discovery
- Carrier and circuit contract details, including renewal dates
- Agreed change windows for any work that touches production
How Gridwise works
Written scope before work starts. Every engagement begins with a written scope, deliverables list and fixed price or monthly fee. Nothing is billed outside that scope without your written approval.
Vendor-neutral advice. Gridwise does not take commissions from hardware, carrier, cloud or software vendors, so recommendations follow your requirements rather than a sales target.
You own the outputs. Designs, configurations, documentation and code produced for you are yours to keep and use with any provider.
Honest about where we are. Gridwise Technology is a newly launched practice. We do not publish testimonials, client logos or case studies, and we will not invent them. What we offer instead is a clear process, written acceptance criteria and documented results for your own environment.
What happens after you apply
Your application goes straight to the Gridwise team, not to a sales queue. Within one business day we reply by email with either a short list of clarifying questions or a proposal for a scoping conversation. If the engagement looks like a fit, we send a written scope that lists the work, the deliverables, the timeline, the fixed price or monthly fee, and the assumptions it depends on. Nothing starts and nothing is billed until you have reviewed and approved that document. If we are not the right partner for what you need, we will say so plainly and, where we can, point you toward a better option.
