Cloud Strategy & Platform Selection Sprint
A short, decision-focused sprint that produces a business case, a platform recommendation and a migration roadmap — so you choose AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid or staying put on evidence rather than sales pressure.
The problem this solves
Cloud decisions get made on discounts and demos. Then the bills, skills gaps and lock-in show up a year later. This sprint looks at your workloads, costs, compliance and team, and compares realistic options side by side, including the option of not moving some workloads at all.
Who it is for
- Leadership teams facing a data-centre refresh, lease end or hardware renewal
- Organizations being pitched by several cloud vendors and partners at once
- IT leads who need a defensible recommendation for a board or owner
- Teams already partly in cloud who want to consolidate on the right platform
Not the right fit if
- You have already signed a cloud commitment and only need migration labour (see the Modernization Program)
- You want a free vendor pitch

What you are paying for
A fixed $4,997 fee, with no commission from any cloud vendor influencing the recommendation. If you proceed to the Gridwise Cloud & Network Modernization Program, the sprint outputs become its starting point, so nothing is repeated.
Frequently asked questions
Are you a reseller for a particular cloud?
No. The recommendation is vendor-neutral and the fee is the same whichever platform you choose.
What if the answer is 'don't move'?
Then that is the recommendation. Some workloads are cheaper and simpler on-premises, and the cost model will show it.
How much of our team's time is needed?
Typically a kickoff, two to four interviews and access to cost and inventory data.
Can I see examples of previous sprints?
Gridwise is a newly launched practice and does not publish client case studies. We can walk you through the deliverable templates before you sign.
What comes after the sprint?
You can execute the roadmap yourself, with another partner, or through the Modernization Program.

What we need from you
- An executive sponsor and a named technical lead
- Read-only access to cloud accounts, billing exports and identity configuration
- An application and infrastructure inventory, even if partial
- Known compliance, data-residency or contractual requirements
- Agreed change windows for any work that touches production
How Gridwise works
Written scope before work starts. Every engagement begins with a written scope, deliverables list and fixed price or monthly fee. Nothing is billed outside that scope without your written approval.
Vendor-neutral advice. Gridwise does not take commissions from hardware, carrier, cloud or software vendors, so recommendations follow your requirements rather than a sales target.
You own the outputs. Designs, configurations, documentation and code produced for you are yours to keep and use with any provider.
Honest about where we are. Gridwise Technology is a newly launched practice. We do not publish testimonials, client logos or case studies, and we will not invent them. What we offer instead is a clear process, written acceptance criteria and documented results for your own environment.
What happens after you apply
Your application goes straight to the Gridwise team, not to a sales queue. Within one business day we reply by email with either a short list of clarifying questions or a proposal for a scoping conversation. If the engagement looks like a fit, we send a written scope that lists the work, the deliverables, the timeline, the fixed price or monthly fee, and the assumptions it depends on. Nothing starts and nothing is billed until you have reviewed and approved that document. If we are not the right partner for what you need, we will say so plainly and, where we can, point you toward a better option.
